Zabbix and the Docker API, Part 1: Inspect

This article outlines two methods for configuring Zabbix to collect Docker API metrics: a highly secure approach using the HTTP agent with TLS certificate authentication and a simpler alternative using the SSH agent. While the HTTP agent method requires a more complex setup involving certificate generation and Docker daemon reconfiguration, it provides superior protection for the Docker environment.
