Datadog observability breaks away from SaaS with BYOC

At its DASH 2026 conference, Datadog announced new "bring-your-own-cloud" and federated log capabilities that allow customers to analyze data stored within their own infrastructure to address rising telemetry volumes and compliance needs. The company also unveiled several AI-driven tools for managing agent costs and security, while expanding its market reach by making its Bits Security Analyst compatible with competing SIEM platforms like Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel.
